While most of the time spent on the Gamers website is on the forum, there are still pages on the main site that can be useful. That being said, we should update the Sites We Like page. It probably hasn't been touched in years. So let's mull over it, pick the ones that should stay, and add new links to places we often read. The categories are: News and Reviews Sites, Blogs and Media Types, Fan Sites, Academics, Entertainment, and Music These too can be modified. Let's do this! News and Reviews Sites (the big dogs) IGN 1up GameSpot Kotaku Joystiq Blogs and Media Authors (small staff, individual, or very focused) Fan Sites (for specific games/series) Academics (smart stuff) Entertainment (like comics or videos) Music (bands, remix, OSTs) (5)Comments

So, we're fresh out of the last meeting of the semester (Spring Cleaning challenge day!)... which will be concluded on Trivia Day next week. Trivia Day will be on Wed. May 30 at Erik's place (directions will be sent shortly to the mailing list). Celebrate the end of classes and take a little break before starting on your exam studying, paper writing, etc. Rules - 1. Modified Jeopardy-style gaming-related trivia contest 2. Try to get on Sollosi's team 3. If you fail to accomplish Rule 2, then disregard Rule 1 There will be food, prizes, and the chance to show off your gaming knowledge and earn some nerd cred. So don't miss it! Anyways, I'd also like to take this time to thank the fourth year regulars and officers who will be leaving us soon... *sniff* You folks have made this another great year for the Gamers Club, both during "official" club events and a plethora of outside get-togethers. That said, the torch (or NES controller, as it were) was passed today at the meeting... Gamers, presenting your 08/09 officers! Co-presidents: Sollosi and Z Historian: Alex Social Chair: Kat Webmaster: Amanda (yep, you're stuck with me for another year, heh) (8)Comments
